Dibel Beltran y Berta Pereira Somos Dibel Beltrán y Berta Pereira, misioneros de Uruguay a Chile por los últimos 24 años. Berta ha estado en JUCUM Chile (Santiago) desde el año 1980 y Dibel desde 1989 y empezamos a trabajar en JUCUM Pichilemu después de casarnos en 1995. Tenemos 3 hijos Christian, Andrea, Sarah. Hemos trabajado en entrenamiento, construcción, cocina, planta física y muchas áreas en el recorrido de todos estos años. Actualmente trabajamos como misioneros capacitadores (entrenadores de jóvenes misioneros) como los directores (encargados) de entrenamiento en la base de Jucum Pichilemu. Los últimos 24 años ha sido un tiempo de estar en la voluntad de Dios. Un tiempo positivo y productivo. Hemos visto la gloria de Dios en nuestra familia en provisión. Hemos visto al Señor en el ministerio, personas que se han convertido, que han sido transformadas restauradas en identidad. Hemos visto muchas personas casarse y siendo efectivos en misiones o en diferentes áreas de la sociedad. Hasta aquí Dios ha sido con nosotros. Y si tuviéramos que tomar la misma decisión la tomaríamos con gusto. No hay nada mejor que estar en lo que Dios tiene para uno. No fuera de la dificultad, necesidad económica, dificultad en relacionamiento, dificultad con el pueblo en cual vivimos y trabajamos, pero Dios nunca ha dejado de estar con nosotros. Y lo que ha sido mejor es poder permanecer porque es con eso que uno puede ver resultados positivos. Hemos estado con JUCUM Pichilemu desde Diciembre 1996 trabajando ya por 23 años. Nuestra experiencia de entrenamiento ha sido: EDE, Consejería, Core Course, Desarrollo de Liderazgo, Seminario de Estudios Bíblicos Tenemos 3 hijos: Pablo, Esteban, y Magdalena y 5 nietos Vicente, Trinidad, Alahya, Zorion, Mateus. Emilio vino a la base primero para terminar el proyecto de la piscina y después trabajó en el área administrativa, encargado de gastos comunes y proyectos de la base. Mónica empezó trabajando en la cocina y el ministerio de hospitalidad. Fuimos parte del equipo pionero de Pura Vida (Centro Comunitario) Dirigimos tres diferentes tipos de escuelas (EDE, EDE Nuevos Rumbos, y EDE construcción). Llegamos acá con una palabra de Dios (Dios con su diestra nos sustenta, y cumple sus promesas Isaias 41:10) y siempre hemos escuchado a eso. Pichilemu ha sido el lugar donde realmente conocimos a Dios a pesar de ser pastores en Argentina. Ha sido un lugar de desarrollo espiritual, un lugar de crecimiento, y de tener una visión más amplia de lo que es misiones. Hemos servido con equipos en distintos países (Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, Bolivia, Alemania). También JUCUM ha sido un referente global en cómo ver y practicar el servicio en la comunidad en cual uno vive. En el terremoto de 2010, trabajamos en las diferentes iglesias, y esferas de sociedad en nuestra comuna. Dios nos dijo que seriamos padres de multitudes y hemos adoptado a muchos (de USA, Argentina, Sur África, Alemania) a lo largo de estos años que, y aun nos ven cómo sus padres y estamos seguros que se agregaran más. Llegamos con una semana de casados para hacer nuestra EDE. Estuvimos los primeros 4 años en Santiago y después venimos a Pichilemu con otras dos parejas para empezar la base de Pichilemu. Comenzamos la primera EDE de la base hace 26 años. Trabajamos para pionerar las escuelas que tenemos ahora en la base. Fuera de trabajar para establecer la EDE, en los primeros años ayudamos a la escuela de Estudios Bíblicos, también la escuela de Consejería y el área de la piscina y el centro comunitario PURA VIDA. La verdad hemos trabajado en todas las áreas de nuestra base. Experiencia de entrenamiento: EDE, Consejería, personal de EDE y Maximo realizó la EEB. Tenemos un llamado al campo misionero y es la razón porque hemos permanecido. Venimos con la intención de solo hacer la EDE cuando Dios nos llamó y nunca regresamos a casa, pero sí hemos sido intencional de mantener relacionamiento con nuestra Iglesia en Argentina. Misioneros desde 1983 a 1987 en Hawaii, y Enero de 1988 hasta hoy 2020 en Chile. Llegamos a Chile en 1988 con un compromiso de solo 2 años. Pero después de recibir el llamado de ir a Pichilemu para levantar la base de JUCUM, ya llevamos trabajando 28 años. Comenzamos el ministerio de JUCUM Pichilemu, Chile, en 1993 y seguimos siendo directores de JUCUM, Pichilemu. Éste ministerio extiende el reino de Dios a través de las esferas de la sociedad, como los deportes, negocios, y educación. Nosotros preparamos y entrenamos cristianos jóvenes que quieren ser misioneros a través de los cursos de entrenamiento por la Universidad de las Naciones. Tenemos 5 hijos, Nathan, Jessica, Janelle, Michaela y Katrina. Dios nos ha bendecido con nuestra última hija especial, Katrina. Ella tiene Síndrome de Down y su vida ha abierto las puertas en el pueblo de Pichilemu para trabajar con familias y niños con discapacidad mental, emocional y física. Somos una familia deportiva cristiana. Nuestros deportes principales son la natación y el surf. Toda la familia practica seriamente en los dos deportes, y a través de ellos mostramos nuestra fe. Hemos levantado un centro integral deportivo que es parte de la comunidad de Pichilemu. Nuestra Visión cómo familia es afectar a la comunidad a través de tener un matrimonio sano, y familia unida. También mientras practicamos los deportes nosotros compartimos el evangelio de Jesucristo. Vivimos para honrar a Dios con nuestras vidas. Throughout our time we have been working in training, construction, kitchen and in many more ministries here at the base. Currently, we serve as the training directors of our base. We are involved in the equipping and training of young missionaries, overseeing the training at our campus in Pichilemu. These past 24 years have been a time working in God's will for us has. It has been a very fruitful and positive time in which we saw the glory of God in providing for our family. We have seen the Lord doing wonderful things in the lives of many people, transforming and restoring. We have seen a lot of marriages being formed that continue to serve in all spheres of society. God truly has been faithful, and we would, without doubt, say yes again to His calling for us. There is nothing more beautiful than living in what God has for us. We have 2 sons who are also involved in missions, one in Ecuador and one in Colombia. Before coming to Chile we have been involved in church work, investing in youth, and serving as elders. In the 20 years, we have been in Chile, we worked with the School of Biblical Studies, in the construction of different buildings and classrooms and helped develop the community center “Pura Vida”. We have grown in our faith and see God provide and protect. We have seen the need for good teaching on how to study the Bible. This is how we came to work with the School of Biblical Studies and the Bible Core Course, both schools that focus on studying the Bible. This is our passion. To train young missionaries in biblical teaching and to end bible poverty. Serving at the base, helping construct and develop in all ministries, has grown our faith. We have seen the Lord's provision admits difficulties, staying faithful to His promise to be at our side all the time. This is why we have remained in the calling He has given to us. We have two sons. Our oldest Ivan Maximilliano, born in Argentina, is married to Eunjung and they have a daughter, Isabella. Ivan has been involved with the UNISCRIPT working in Thailand and South-Korea. Javier our youngest, born in Chile and is currently working with YWAM in Spain. In 1990, after a week of being married, we came to YWAM Chile to do our DTS and we continued to serve the base in Santiago for 4 more years. In 1994, together with 4 other couples, we pioneered the base in Pichilemu. We held the first DTS 26 years ago. Besides working with the DTS, we have been involved in establishing the School of Biblical Studies and the Foundations of Counseling Ministry school as regular schools on Base. Another ministry we have been part of is the community center “PURA VIDA”. Over the years we worked in all ministries at our base. We both have done FCM and also worked as staff in several schools. Maximo did SBS as well. Initially, we came to Chile to just do our DTS. Now 26 years later we remain in our calling to Missions. We have never returned to Argentina for a longer period, but we continue to have a close and intentional relationship with our Church in Argentina. Currently, we work with the Discipleship Training School, training, and equipping young people into missions. We are very passionate to see young people being trained and released to fully walk in their God-given callings. We focus on connecting and reaching the churches with our outreach. From 1983 till 1987 in Hawaii and from January 1988 to this day in Chile. We came to Chile with a 2-year commitment. But later, when we received the calling to go to Pichilemu and pioneer a base, we are now in our 28th year serving here. We have started the YWAM Pichilemu base and we continue to be the directors at the base. This base desires to extent the kingdom of God through the spheres of society, like sports, business, and education. We prepare and equip Christian youth with a call for missions, in our several schools from the University of the Nations. We have 5 children, Nathan, Jessica, Janelle, Michaela, and Katharina. God has given us a special blessing with our youngest special daughter Katharina. She has Down Syndrome and her life has opened so many doors in the city of Pichilemu. To reach and work with a diversity of families and children mentally, emotionally, and physically. We are a sportive Christian family our primary sports are swimming and surf. All of our family is seriously involved with sports and through it, we show our faith. We have raised a community center that is a part of the community here in Pichilemu. The vision of our family is to influence the community by having a healthy marriage and a united family. While doing sports we share the Gospel of Jesus. We live to honor God with our lives. Our goal is to reach the families, our community Pichilemu, and all the world, using education and sports like surfing and swimming. Our major challenge is that the church in Chile does not see sports as part of God's plan. It is considered as something worldly and fleshly. This challenge makes us work to raise healthy sports ministries that honor God, holding fast to his word and commandments while practicing sports. We also need creativity in this time, new ideas so reach and disciple the people through surf and swimming. That God will raise young people who take on the vision to reach their generation through sports. To promote the idea of "community centers" to churches and YWAM Bases worldwide. Guided by a word of God, we have been involved here at YWAM Pichilemu for 23 years. Our 3 Children, Pablo, Esteban, and Magdalena and we have 5 Grandkids. Emilio came first to the base, to finish the community center project “Pura Vida”. Later he worked in administration. Monica started working in the kitchen and the hospitality ministry. Although we have been pastors in Argentina, this base has been the place, where we profoundly developed our spiritual life, receiving a broader vision of missions. In our work with YWAM, we have taken a lot of teams to several countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, Bolivia, Germany). God has told us that we will be parents for many and we have had the pleasure to adopt spiritual children all over the world. This is something that fills our hearts with great gratitude. We have worked in all ministries on the base. Kitchen, construction, and hospitality to name a few. We staffed and led several schools, especially the Discipleship Training School. Emilio has dedicated a lot of time teaching in the area of construction and Monica has a passion to mentor women. One of our main focuses at the beginning of our time in Pichilemu has been the development of our community center “Pura Vida”. Later the Construction DTS has been our main focus. Besides being part of the leadership team at the base, we invest in church planting. We are part of the pastors union here in our community Pichilemu and the intercessory group of YWAM Chile.
