We believe that God wants us to grow in all three aspects of our being. We emphasize the development of the body, soul, and spirit. God created us with these three elements. We have a physical body, a soul with emotions, and a spirit that sustains our connection with God. Our school is committed to helping everyone grow: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The school has several areas of involvement and interest with
. These areas are as follows:

Fitness - People interested in getting and staying fit as a lifestyle can enjoy regular sessions of focused exercise with professional trainers

Surfing - Everyone is welcome to learn to surf with our professional instructors. The waves in Pichilemu are world-class. That's why experienced surfers are also welcome.

Swimming - We already have a semi-Olympic-sized indoor pool at Pura Vida. There are opportunities to swim or train every day.

Basketball - We have a basketball court in the gym

Soccer - Our gym also has an indoor soccer field

Fitness for the Elderly and People with Special Needs - We focus on reaching out to the elderly and people with physical, emotional, and mental challenges with God's love through fitness and sports

Who can participate?
It is much more than just a school for athletes. People who lead a more sedentary lifestyle and want to make changes to live healthier and more fulfilling lives are also welcome. We will offer many creative ideas in the area of nutrition to help you eat and live healthier as well.

As with other DTS programs, the main focus of the school is for you to spend quality time with God! Set aside time to focus on Him, get to know Him, and share what you’ve learned about Him with others. Learn to listen to His voice and discover the wonderful plans He has for you.

Outreach

The second part of the course is called the practical component. It focuses on going out and making disciples, or sharing the gospel with people who do not know Christ. We use strategies such as sports, fitness, and other approaches to reach people with God’s love.


The DTS is registered as: Discipleship Training School DSP211 and Discipleship Training School Assignment DSP212, and is a prerequisite for all other University of the Nations courses and for serving as staff with Youth With A Mission.
