DOCUMENTARY FILM SCHOOL

It is a pioneering school within YWAM Pichilemu and YWAM Latin America.

This school provides the basic tools for learning how to document and tell stories—real stories.

This is the motto God has given us. We believe we have an incredible opportunity to expand God’s kingdom by sharing stories from the heart, with the goal of bringing hope and love to those who lack them.

If you feel called to make a difference in this area of society or want to learn how to tell stories from the heart, we’d love to have you join us!

Our program will last 3 months.

Registered at the University of the Nations as: CMC 273/274.

The course will cover basic topics such as:

  • Camera

  • Audiovisual Language

  • Sound

  • Script

  • Finding the Story (Pre-Production)

  • Developing the story (pre-production) 

  • Capturing History (Production). Among others.

  • Over the course of these three months, students will have the opportunity to create one or two short documentaries.

  • Registration: $50 USD

  • Theory: $1,400 USD

  • Cross-subsidy: We do not have a cross-subsidy for this first school.

Requirements

  • Approved discipleship and training school.
