We established the YWAM Pichilemu, Chile base in 1993, and since then we have grown from four couples to more than 53 full-time long-term staff members, with many more serving with us on a short-term basis. Thousands of young people have been trained, and many have been sent out from our base to serve as missionaries in the following countries: Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Canada, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, and Italy.
our leadership team:
Each of them received a calling from God to train the next generation. Six couples from different countries, all united by the same desire to see the Kingdom of God spread throughout the earth, now lead our base toward that goal.

We are Mitch & Juliette Anderson, sent from the USA to work in Chile for the past 32 years.
We served as missionaries from 1983 to 1987 in Hawaii and from January 1988 until now in Chile.
We came to Chile in 1988 with only a 2-year commitment. But after receiving God’s call to go to Pichilemu to build up the YWAM base, we have been working there for 28 years.
We started the ministry of YWAM Pichilemu, Chile in 1993 and are still the directors of YWAM Pichilemu.
